Fuel Economy: Forward lift drive axle? Why not a...

lift able rear drive axle?

I read a lot on here of people doing a lift axle of the front drive axle. I think it would be easier, cheaper and better to make the rear axle the one that lifts. You could put a regular drive axle from a 4x2 configured truck in place of your current axle, the drive line would be shorter and you wouldn't have to have a special axle made with a U shape in it to clear the drive line.

What say you?

Fuel Guages account deleted: My account seems to have been deleted.##

It seems my FuelGuages account was deleted. I opened the account on April 10th I believe and on May 7th I got an email that my Profit guages trial would be over soon. My wife and I were at home then and once back on the road, when we tried to enter a fuelup, we found our Fuel Guages account was closed.

What happened and can I get the account back or do I need to start over again??

I sent an email to support@myguages.com and got no reply.

I don't have regular access to the web but can check email, so if someone can get this to the attention of someone who can help it would be great if I could get an email at boyd.jim(at)gmail.com

Landstar - Mentors guidance and advise.: Brian from Landstar that Kevin was helping?

I have not heard any updates recently with Kevin helping Brian from Landstar that was struggling about a month ago. A few came forward to mentor, but no info on the show recently.
